" I Am very sorry for
the things that I have done, and I hope to stop others from making the same mistakes.
The day of the fire was the worst day and the best day of my entire life. I have
been given yet another chance in life, and I am not going to waste this one.
My goal is to warn people about the dangers and consequences of using drugs.
I have been telling my story throughout
the state of Idaho since March of 2004. This has been an awesome experience
for me. I love speaking. Having spoken to lots of kids these last four
years, I am concerned for them. Drugs are so prevalent in today's society
and they need to know everything that they can. I personally feel that prevention
and awareness are two of the biggest weapons that we can use in this fight against
drugs. As for the kids that have already started down the wrong road, they
need to know exactly where that road will lead them to. I can show them that.
Speaking is very therapeutic for me and it makes me feel better knowing that something
good can come from all of the bad in my past."
